PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a cooking device with superior wear resistance wherein multiple colors can be provided by one type of glass fabric and a portion bonded with heat resistant resin does not appear to be different even when a temperature sensor is bonded by the heat resistant resin. SOLUTION: A base material 11 comprises crystallized glass having translucency, and it is provided with a first face (used face) 11a facing an outer part side of the cooking device, and a second face (unused face) 11b facing an inner part side.
