PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative panel manufacturing method capable of obtaining a standard length decorative panel 4 most efficiently without leaving a place 2 unstable in the adhesion of a woody substrate and a surface decorative material at the end edge of the decorative panel 4 obtained by applying male and female solid processings 5 and 6 to at least two end edges in the longitudinal direction of the small divided decorative substrate 3, which is obtained by at least longitudinally dividing a large-sized decorative substrate 1 obtained by laminating a thin surface decorative material to the surface of an almost rectangular woody substrate. SOLUTION: In applying male and female solid processings 5 and 6 to two end edges in the longitudinal direction of the small divided decorative substrate 3, when one of two end edges is not the end edge formed by longitudinal division, male solid processing 5 is applied thereto and female solid processing 6 is applied to the end edge opposed to the processed end edge and formed by longitudinal division. By this constitution, the adhesion unstable places 2 in the vicinity of two end edges in the longitudinal direction of the large sized decorative substrate 1 before division are removed by the male solid processing 5.
