PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a rolling bearing capable of preventing cage noise from occurring and increasing sound durability by suppressing a self-exciting vibration amount and always adhering proper amount of lubricant to rolling elements and the roller bearing. SOLUTION: Each pocket 4 comprises a tubular part 10 extending in one direction from the base end to the tip thereof, a bottom part 12 closing the base end of the tubular part, and a tip part 14 formed at the tip of the tubular part and having an opening P partly formed therein. Each rolling element 2 is formed so that the peripheral side thereof can be held by the tubular part and the movement amount in the pocket can be suppressed by the bottom part and the tip part. Cylindrical faces 10a and 10b holding the peripheral side of the rolling elements are formed on the tubular part, a bottom face 12a holding the rolling elements in point contact therewith is formed on the bottom part, and a pair of claw pieces 14a and 14b projected in a direction for closing an opening are formed at the tip part.
