PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the suction of air into an electric oil pump while sharing the use of an oil strainer between a mechanical oil pump and the electric oil pump. SOLUTION: In this oil suction device of an automatic transmission having the mechanical oil pump driven by an engine and the electric oil pump driven by an electric motor, the oil strainer 20 for the mechanical oil pump is stored in the lower oil pan 12 of the automatic transmission. The oil strainer 20 comprises a suction port 22 sucking oil in the oil pan 12, a filter 24 filtrating the oil sucked from the suction port 22, and a discharge port 26 discharging the oil filtrated by the filter 24 to the mechanical oil pump. The oil strainer 20 comprises a second discharge port 28 discharging the oil sucked from the suction port 22 and filtrated by the filter 24 to the electric oil pump at a position lower than the discharge port 26 for the mechanical oil pump.
