Arrangement for fixing an actuating element (7) on a component, especially a motor vehicle seat, comprises inserting the housing (13) of the actuating element in the manner of a bayonet fixing into an opening in the component having a radial recess for its claws (14) and axially fixing it in the component on rotation. After rotation the claws rest on one side of the component and a collar (15) of the actuating element rests on the other side. At least one region of the collar angularly offset from the claws is designed as a spring tongue (16) with catch nubs (17) facing the claws, which on rotation of the housing catch in one of the recesses of the opening.
