<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system for hourly charge payment service that can be miniaturized, is inexpensive, and makes it easy for users to pay charges if it is running short of electronic money. <P>SOLUTION: The processing system for hourly charge payment service comprises an electronic money medium 10 such as an IC card 11 or a cellular phone 12, an automatic charge settling process device 20, a shortage settling process computing part 40, and an electronic money charger 50. The automatic charge settling process device 20 uses an electronic money medium reading part 21 to read information on the electronic money medium and uses a charge indicating part 22 to indicate the charge needed. The shortage settling process computing part 40 has a computer 41 for a charge settling process and an electronic money medium reader/writer 42. The computer 41 performs computations based on the information read by the electronic money medium reading part or the information read by the electronic money medium reader/writer 42, and if the electronic money charged to the electronic money medium 10 is insufficient, performs a settling process that is advantageous for the person who settles the charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
