<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of improving performance by reducing temperature dispersion of a cooling fluid in the cell stacking direction of an internal manifold type fuel cell stack using, in particular, a solid state polymer electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell is characterized by reducing heat transmission resistance between a power generation cell and a cooling cell toward a flowing direction of the cooling fluid in the fuel cell stack. The solid polymer electrolyte has a proton (hydrogen ion) exchange group in each molecule; and when water is impregnated into it, it shows a low resistance value and functions as a proton conducting electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
