PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole cutter support device which surely discharges chips generated in the hole cutter at drilling, by a chip discharging body. SOLUTION: A hole cutter support device 1 comprises: a cutter holder 5 rotatably supported by a fixed case 4 so as to reciprocate in a direction X of the rotation center line 5a; a center pin 6 supported by the cutter holder 5 so as to reciprocate in the direction X of the rotary center line; and an energizing spring 7 that presses the center pin 6 toward a cutter attachment part 10 of the cutter holder 5. An oil supply pipe 8 is provided, which is capable of regulating the movement of the center pin 6 in an anti-drilling direction XR by contacting the center pin 6, when the hole cutter 11 moves to a drilling direction XF to drill a workpiece 22, and the center pin 6, in contact with the workpiece 22, moves in the anti-drilling direction XR with respect to the cutter holder 5 against the pressing force by the energizing spring 7.
