FIELD: electrical engineering and other industries such as wind-power generation and transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed machine has circular squirrel-cage rotor and circular stator; the latter is assembled of sectors having different number of cumulating and differential turns of winding. Desired quantity and proportion of cumulative and differential turns of winding are attained due to adequate choice of quantity and connection of sectors. As an alternative, use can be made of cast turns for stator winding and of mechanism for regulating clearance between annular squirrel-cage rotor and stator sectors. ^ EFFECT: simplified design; facilitated adjustment of electromagnetic torque and speed of machine. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
