<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code-reading device with an identification code quality checking function which cautions a user to replace an identification code with appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: The code-reading device is provided with the identification code quality checking function which gradually decreases reading accuracy of a code reader to prescribed criterion accuracy on reading operation of the identification code, and which cautions that the identification code should be replaced because of deterioration of the quality, when a reading error occurs in the criterion accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
