PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of surely performing security protection by easily physically destroying the written data on an optical disk. SOLUTION: A disk 1 from which a user wants to erase the data is mounted on a central holding platform 2, and a blade 3 for data destruction is placed over the disk. (The central holding platform 2 is previously fixed to a case 4, the blade 3 is previously fixed to a case 5, and by closing the case, the blade 3 hits the surface of the disk 1). When the cases 4 and 5 are held, and pressure is applied to the edge of the blade to rotate the disk 1, the blade 3 cuts a pigment layer together with a protective layer/reflection layer of the disk 1.
