IMAGE FORMATION METHOD

An image formation method for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body, generating a visible image by a development agent, transferring the image onto ordinary paper, and fixing the image onto the paper by adding heat. The method is characterized in that Ra < 10 alphaM/rho (wherein alpha < 1.1) is satisfied when the development agent has density rho [g/cm<3>] so as to perform fixation with adhesion amount M(x10<-3> [g/cm<2>]) and the arithmetic average roughness on the image surface is Ra(x10<-4> [cm]). Thus, it is possible to realize a high-quality fixed image having an appropriate luster on an ordinary paper.
