PURPOSE: A vehicle air conditioning system with an anion production unit is provided to produce a delightful room atmosphere by making an anion flow together with the air blown for air conditioning or heating to sterilize and purify the room air. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle air conditioning system with an anion production unit(50) comprises a suction duct(16), a blower unit(20), branch ducts(26,28), a heater(30) and an evaporator(32), a hinge door(40), a join duct(34), the anion production unit, and distribution ducts(36,38). The blower unit is connected with the suction duct. The branch ducts branch from a blow port(25) of the blower unit. The heater and the evaporator are each mounted to the branch ducts. The hinge door selectively opens and shuts the branch ducts. The branch ducts are joined to the join duct. The anion production unit produces an anion in the join duct. The distribution ducts connect the join duct with the room of the vehicle.
