PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boss reinforcing structure of a cabinet provided with a rib coupled with the outer surface of the cabinet in order to reinforce a boss in which the boss for fixing a cathode-ray tube is raised at each corner of the cabinet, the cathode-ray tube is fixed to the boss and supported by the boss by a simple structure of a simple shape and an impact acting on the boss is relaxed not to be transmitted to a cabinet body. SOLUTION: In the boss reinforcing structure of a cabinet, a plurality of cuts 16 and 16 are formed in ribs 13 and 14 in order to absorb an impact acting on a boss 11 by the cuts 16 and 16 in the ribs 13 and 14.
