The invention relates to a mineral fibre-based heat- and/or sound-insulting product which is produced by means of internal centrifuging and drawing using a gas stream at a high temperature, and creping. The invention is characterised in that: the product does not contain devitrified and/or fibre particles; the length of the fibres is at most equal to 2 cm and, preferably, less than 1.5 cm; and the fibres have a micronaire of less than or equal to 4 in 5 grams and, in particular, between 2.5 and 4 in 5 grams, or a micronaire of less than or equal to 18 l/mn, in particular between 11 and 15 l/mn and, more particularly, of the order of 12 to 13 l/mn. |
