PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of a conventional digital camera that a user cannot easily handle image information in the case of superimposing the image information on a video signal because the image information is unique. SOLUTION: A file including ASCII codes being image information is created, a digital camera disclosed herein receives the file via an SD memory, and the user confirms information to be superimposed on a screen of a viewfinder, selects the information and superimposes the information on the video signal.
