PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a piezoelectric element into a thin film and to readily prevent a piezoelectric element from being broken by a voltage applied thereto in an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder performs printing by ejecting ink. The inkjet recorder comprises a pressurizing chamber having an ink liquid filled therein, a nozzle 1 communicating with the pressurizing chamber, the piezoelectric element 13 formed above the pressurizing chamber and generating a pressure in the pressurizing chamber by deforming the pressurizing chamber by virtue of mechanical expansion and contraction to eject the ink from the nozzle 16, a dew point control means 23 that maintains dew points of the piezoelectric element 13 and the atmosphere in the vicinity of the piezoelectric element 13 lower than a dew point of an environment of a portion where the inkjet recorder is placed. The dew point control means 23 has a compressor 23a and an air dryer 23b for drying compressed air from the compressor 23a to transfer it to the piezoelectric element 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
