PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a clogging with high accuracy on the basis of the circumferential environment and a condition of a filter. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner having a fan motor 2 of which a rotating speed is detected to be controlled, the input voltage D(n) to the fan motor 2 is controlled to keep the rotating speed Ncont constant in accordance with the detected rotating speed NO(n), and a result of the comparison of the input voltage with a determination reference value D2 is displayed.
