The valve arrangement has control valves for changing over at least four control members and overlapping valves which can be moved from a choke position into a through position for the delayed emptying of the respectively disengaging control member against the force of a restoring spring by the pressure of the engaging control member. Allocated in each case to a control-member pair is a common control valve which carries out a reversal of the system pressure from one control member to the other. The respective pressure in the control member of one control-member pair controls an allocated overlapping valve, the respective pressure-relief connection lines of these overlapping valves being connected via branch lines to emptying connections of at least one further control valve. A non-return valve opening towards the overlapping valve is in each case arranged in these branch lines so that the overlapping valves allocated to a coupling pair can also be used for the further control members.
