PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which warmup time is drastically shortened by an improved fixing device mounted in the image forming apparatus, steady fixing free from unevenness fixing is performed, and rapid image formation and improvement in operation efficiency are achieved. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a belt type fixing device that fixes an unfixed toner image on a transfer medium under pressure and heat. The belt type fixing device has an electromagnetic induction heating device that includes: a support roller having a roller shape by providing wires in a bus form between both flanges that have concentric rotary shafts; an inside pressure roller; a heat belt wound round at least both the rollers; an outside pressure roller pressed against the inside pressure roller via the heat belt and the transfer medium.
