PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable composition which gives a cured article having a high refractive index and excellent in flexibility and adhesiveness and is especially suitable for preparing an optical article. SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable composition contains a compound (A) which is prepared by reacting a compound represented by formula (1) and a diol compound with an organic polyisocyanate and a hydroxy-group-containing (meth)acrylate.
