PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting malfunctions of electrical components of a vehicle and an inspecting method thereof are provided to improve reliability and accuracy of inspection by using a voltage value as well as a current value in an inspection process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting electrical components of a vehicle includes an inspection part, a battery, an inspection kit, and an analysis kit. The inspection part inspects malfunctions of the electrical components. The battery(10) is used for supplying the power to the electrical components. The inspection kit(20) is connected to the battery in order to measure voltages and currents applied from the battery to the electrical components. The analysis kit(30) is used for calculating pure output values of the electrical components from the measured values of the voltages and the currents and deciding the malfunctions of the electrical components by comparing the pure output values with reference output values.
