PSTN/IP NETWORK SHARED TELEPHONE SET AND CALL CONNECTION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PSTN/IP network shared telephone set and a call connection control method in which IP network call connection using a PSTN telephone number is made possible. SOLUTION: When originating a call using a PSTN telephone number, the PSTN/IP network shared telephone set acquires an IP telephone number of a terminating side telephone set corresponding to the PSTN telephone number from a telephone number conversion server 4 connected to an IP network and acquires IP address information of the terminating side telephone set corresponding to the IP telephone number from a call control server 5 connected to the IP network, and the IP address information is used to connect a call with the terminating side telephone set via the IP network. When the IP telephone number of the terminating side telephone set can not be acquired from the telephone number conversion server, the call is connected with the terminating side telephone set via a PSTN.
