PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake device capable of realizing reduction of cost, smooth operation, and improvement in degree of freedom in lay-out of parts inside a drum. SOLUTION: A first adjuster rod 44 and a second adjuster rod 46 to be required to drive an adjuster lever 71 are locked with a guide plate 42 turnably supported by a guide pin 41 erected on a brake shoe 4, and an end of a shoe return spring 16 for energizing a secondary shoe 4 in a return direction is locked with an upper end of the guide pin 41 to avoid interference between the first adjuster rod 44 and the shoe return spring 16 when turning the guide plate 42.
