PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drift pin of simple structure that prevents it from falling off after a pin body is driven to a member or penetrated in the penetration hole of the member. SOLUTION: The drift pin 11 is composed of a pin body 12 with an annular groove 12b that is installed on its outer circumference face and a detent ring 13 that is fixed to the annular groove 12b, enables to drive by shrinking the diameter when the pin body 12 is driven to a member and stops returning of the pin body 12 by enlarging the diameter to the return direction of the pin body 12.
