PURPOSE: A passenger air bag for a vehicle is provided to prevent the breakage and separation of an air bag door by guiding the inflation of an air cushion into the center by a cushion guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A passenger air bag for a vehicle is composed of an air cushion(100), an inflator(200) generating gas and supplying gas to the inside of the air cushion, a housing(300) for holding the air cushion and the inflator, a retainer(400) coupled to the air cushion and fixed to the inside of the housing, and a pair of cushion guide plates(500a,500b). The cushion guide plates are fixed to the inner surface of the housing, and guide the inflating direction of the air cushion. The upper part of the cushion guide plate is bent gently toward the center of the air cushion to enclose the top of the air cushion. |
