METHOD FOR WINDING OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bad condition that the position of an optical fiber wound on a bobbin gets out of place.

SOLUTION: The optical fiber 1 is wound by driving a drive part 18 for winding while the tension of the optical fiber is adjusted by controlling a tensile force imparting device 7 with a controlling unit 22. When the first layer of the optical fiber 1 is wound, a prescribed tension T2 which is larger than a usual winding tension T1 when winding the third layer of the optical fiber 1 is imparted.
