PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to prevent damages of the panel by minimizing thermal stresses caused due to temperature differences between the inside and outside of a frit. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a first substrate(2) and a second substrate(4) arranged in parallel with each other; a plurality of address electrodes covered with a dielectric layer on the first substrate; barrier ribs disposed in a display region(24) set on the substrates so as to form a discharge space; a phosphor layer formed in the discharge space; a plurality of discharge sustain electrodes covered with a dielectric layer on the second substrate opposed to the first substrate; a frit(22) which surrounds a non-display region(26) formed outside of the display region, and is arranged at edges of the substrates so as to seal the substrates; and a heat radiation electrode(28) arranged over the inside and outside of the frit on the first or second substrate.
