PURPOSE: Provided are a baking machine and a method for controlling the same which easily remove the mix bag after canceling the baking process. CONSTITUTION: The baking machine includes: a body, forming an oven chamber; an upper and lower kneading drum(11,13), arranged inside the oven chamber in a distanced manner from each other and having a catch, for catching both ends of a mix bag, containing the baking materials; a drum drive(25), kneading the mix bag according to the rotation of the upper and lower kneading drum(11,13); a cancellation selector input(5a), canceling the baking process; a rotation position detector(40), detecting the rotation position of the kneading drum; and controller(70), controlling the drum drive(25) so that the drum drive(25) rotates the kneading drum(11,13) and then the mix bag is deviated from the catch of the lower kneading drum(13).
