PURPOSE: A kimchi storage unit temperature control system making use of a contactless power supply unit and a temperature sensor is provided to prevent oxidation of kimchi by controlling the temperature of the upper part of a kimchi storage unit quickly and exactly. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi storage unit temperature control system comprises a power supply unit(10), a communication unit(20), a door opening and shutting ascertainment unit(30), a temperature sensor(40), a body microcomputer(50), and a door microcomputer(60). In the power supply unit, an electric current is supplied to a second power supply part(14) by mutual induction in a first power part(13) and the second power part each connected to the top surface of a body part(2) and to a bottom surface of a door part(1). The communication unit comprises a first communication part(21) arranged to the top surface of the body part, and a second communication part(22) arranged to the bottom surface of the door part. The door opening and shutting ascertainment unit comprises a first door opening and shutting ascertainment part(31) arranged to the top surface of the body part, and a second door opening and shutting ascertainment part(32) arranged to the bottom surface of the door part. The temperature sensor is arranged to the bottom surface of a door, to sense the temperature of the bottom surface of the door. The body microcomputer is connected to the first door opening and shutting ascertainment part, the first power supply part, and the first communication part, to control the temperature according to signals from the door opening and shutting ascertainment unit and the communication unit. The door microcomputer is connected to the second power supply part, the temperature sensor, and the second communication part, to receive the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor and to transmit the temperature to the body microcomputer via the communication unit.
