PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crystalline resin composition which well maintains biodegradability and has an improved crystallization performance. SOLUTION: The crystalline resin composition comprises a biodegradable crystalline thermoplastic resin material such as polylactate and particles comprising a wood material. The particles comprising the wood material and contained in the crystalline resin composition has a biodegradable property. The particles act as a nucleating agent existing in the crystalline thermoplastic resin material, when the crystalline thermoplastic resin material is cooled and solidified from a softened state. The wood material particles enable the achievement of at least one, preferably all, of the start of the crystallization of the crystalline thermoplastic resin material from a higher temperature, the increase of a crystallization rate, and the improvement of the final crystallization degree. The crystalline resin composition well holds the biodegradability and simultaneously has improved crystallinity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
