PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a border building machine having a simplified structure to horizontally rotating a border building work member, decreasing the backward protrusion in traveling to improve the longitudinal balance of a tractor, and able to be positioned at a forward work position to perform the border building work by the forward motion of the tractor and at a backward work position to perform the border building work by the backward motion of the tractor. SOLUTION: The border building machine to be attached to a tractor has a horizontal rotation mechanism to enable the positioning of a border building work member at a forward work position to perform the border building work by the forward motion of the tractor and at a backward work position to perform the border building work by the backward motion of the tractor relative to the tractor attaching frame and at a nonworking traveling position placed at the back of the tractor. The position of the gravity center of the border building work member placed at the back position is displaced to the tractor side interlocked with the rotation motion to simplify the structure of the rotation part and improve the balance in a state attached to the tractor.
