<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle which properly controls an engagement status of a lock-up clutch when a front cover of a fluid transmission device and the lock-up clutch are disposed so as to be brought into contact under the condition in which differential pressure is not generated. <P>SOLUTION: This lock-up clutch is constituted so as to be brought into contact with the front cover 38 of the fluid transmission device, such as a torque converter 14 with a prescribed pressure Fp under the condition of a differential pressureΔP is not generated. The differential pressureΔP is changed by a lock-up clutch control means 100 to a negative range and a positive range, to change a contact status between the front cover 38 of the torque converter 14 and the lock-up clutch 26, and to control an engagement force of the lock-up clutch 26, therefore, the lock-up clutch 26 can be controlled in a slip condition under the condition the differential pressureΔP is not only in the positive range but also in the negative range, thus properly controlling the engagement status of the lock-up clutch 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
