PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type power tool which improves tool longevity by preventing damage of sealant and a housing, improves working efficiency and an operability, and is downsized. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor provided in a resin made housing 2 detects temperature rise of a combustion chamber frame 11 and a cylinder 20 resulting from combustion of mixture of inflammable gas and air. Thermal damage of the sealant 19, 24 and the housing 2 is prevent as rotation of a fan 14 continues, forced cooling is carried out, and the combustion chamber frame 11 is sealed, while the detected temperature exceeds set temperature.
