Device and method for automatic handling of components comprising cutting tools. The device comprises a picking tool (19) arranged to automatically put together a set comprising a plurality of components (11), the picking tool being arranged to fetch selected components from a storage of components with different properties in dependence on a previously determined sequence of components with specified properties. The device further comprising a storage means arranged to store information about individual components, said information comprising information about at least one property of the component, an identification unit (21) arranged to identify the components, and a verification module arranged to verify that an identified component has the correct property or properties according to said previously determined sequence of components, based on said stored information about the identified component. |
