<p>The invention provides a bicycle with a pedal lever transmission assembly. The bicycle has a frame and a handlebar connected thereon. Pedal lever assembly includes propulsion levers (5, 6) and driving levers (9, 10) which are built in one piece and pivoted on a shaft mounted on the frame so as to rotate within a limited angular sector. There are guide rails (11, 12) in the levers (5, 6) to guide the slippers, which are controlled by the speed-change mechanisms. The ends of chain connect respectively to the slippers and to the one-way clutches which are mounted on the hub of driving wheel. One end of the spiral spring is fixed on the frame and the other end connects the clutch. The bicycle according to the present invention improves the direction relationship between the driving levers and the forces and thus becomes laborsaving and easier to ride.</p> |
