<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight controlling device for a vehicle as improvement of a conventional arrangement such that the headlight of a vehicle is changed over simply between two stages, Hi beam and Low beam, whereby it is possible to solve the conventional problems by changing the headlight projecting angle in the vertical direction and/or to the left and right in accordance with the inclination angle in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle and also changing the quantity of light from the headlight according to the inclination angle in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight controlling device for the vehicle is equipped with a three-dimensional gyroscopic sensor 4 to sense the inclined condition with respect to the horizontal plane of the vehicle, a gateway 1 to decide the projecting angle and/or the photo-quantity of the headlight 7 in accordance with the inclined condition with respect to the horizontal plane of the vehicle sensed by the three-dimensional gyroscopic sensor 4, and a headlight control part 5 to change the projecting angle and/or the photo-quantity of the headlight 7 in accordance with the projecting angle and/or the photo-quantity of the headlight 7 decided by the gateway 1, wherein the three parts are connected through an on-board LAN. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
