PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an air conditioner from being automatically restored even if power failure is restored by operation of a remote control device, for automatically resuming operation when the power failure is restored after the power failure is caused in the operation. SOLUTION: When continuously pushing down a power source ON/OFF key 1 and a specific key 2 for a prescribed time, these signals are inputted from a key input part 3, and a program for stopping the automatically restoring function is read out of a memory part 4 by a control part 8. A display image screen of a display part 6 is erased on the basis of this program, so that stopping operation of the automatically restoring function can be known. A remote control code of power source OFF is read out of the memory part by the control part each time by a signal with every prescribed time from a clock part 5, and is transmitted from a transmitting part 7.
