<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite writing instrument of pressurizing type which is equipped with at least one piece of ball-point pen refill enabling the writing with pressurizing action. <P>SOLUTION: The composite writing instrument is equipped with a tip of the ball-point pen at the tip end and an ink-holding portion in the rear. The instrument is provided with a plurality of the ball-point pen refills which are charged with the ink in the ink-holding portion and a follower at the rear end of the ink and can be alternately protruded from and retracted into the end of the leading end of a barrel. When the writing tip of one knock body is moved to protrude from the leading end of the barrel, another knock body is moved to retract by the forward movement of the former. The ball-point pen refill is removably close-fitted in the forward of the inner hole part of each knock body. At the same time, a pressurizing mechanism of pumping type is provided in the backward of the rear end of the ball-point pen refill at the designated knock body.
