<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of continuing the image formation by using the other paper supply transporting passage even when the paper jam occurs in one of two paper supply transporting passages. <P>SOLUTION: A copying device 1 detects paper supply trays 71-73, 101-103 accommodating the paper sheet P of paper size same as the jammed paper sheet P from a group of first paper supply trays 70 or a group of second paper supply trays 100 using the paper supply passages except for the jammed paper supply passage, when the jam of the paper sheet P occurs during the image formation by supplying the paper sheet P from the group of first paper supply trays 60 or the group of second paper supply trays 100 by a first transporting unit 80 or a second transporting unit 110, and continues the image forming processing by switching the paper supply tray. A first transporting passage jam annunciation lamp 130 or a second transporting passage jam annunciation lamp 131 of a first transporting passage cover 125 or a second transporting passage cover 129 of the jammed paper supply transporting passage is lit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
