PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mechanism which solves a problem wherein guide fence is not to functioned, when the cutting material thin in thickness cannot be positioned in the direction of the table surface as it enters a clearance between a main table and the guide fence, in a table-top circular saw. SOLUTION: A positioning protruded part 11 is projected and provided downward in a state of positioning an auxiliary guide surface 11a flush with a guide surface 7a of the guide fence 7 on a lower end of the guide fence 7, a recessed part 12 is provided on an upper surface 3a of the main table 3 and this recessed part 12 is arranged on the positioning protruded part 11 so as to face against it within a range not to avoid rotation of the main table 3.
