PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector in which the incidence of radiation to a signal processing means existing in the downstream of a wiring board is suppressed. SOLUTION: In this radiation detector, a wiring board 2 having the wiring board 20 composed of a vitreous material having a radiation shielding function and provided with a conductive member 21, which becomes a conductive path for introducing detect signals in a through hole 20c, is set up between a radiation detecting section 1 constituted of a scintillator 10 and a PD array 15 and signal processing elements 30 and 32 of a signal processing section 3 which process detected signals outputted from the PD array 15. The signal processing elements 30 and 32 of the signal processing section 3 positioned on in downstream of the wiring board 20 are disposed with respect to the through hole 20c of the wiring board 20, by shifting the elements 30 and 32 to areas except the areas existing on the extension line of the through hole 20c so that the elements 30 and 32 are not seen from the through hole 20c.
