PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily operate a high frequency snare and to cut any big mucous membrane, etc., as well by providing a cap, which is hard and transparent and has a slit formed from one terminal side end face along axial direction, and a member for fixing the other terminal at the tip of an endoscope. SOLUTION: A hood 1 for endoscope is composed of an almost cylindrical cap 2 and a fixing member 4 for fixing this cap at the tip of an endoscope 3. The cap 2 is composed of hard and transparent synthetic resin or glass, has hardness at the degree of not being deformed when being pushed on the mucous membrane or sucked without disturbing the view of the endoscope 3 and has a slit 2a axially extended from the tip side. The high frequency snare wire can be inserted to the slit 2a, the slit has a dimension at a certain degree so that air leak can not increase when sucking the mucous membrane or the like and preferably, the slit 2a is formed with the breadth from 0.5mm to 4mm. |
