PURPOSE: A circular knitting machine for manufacturing spacer textile contains a needle cam capable of being elevated to the same height as height that a needle part of a system is applied to a system and a compound needle. CONSTITUTION: A circular knitting machine comprises: a first needle bed(1) of a needle cylinder type containing a groove for a first knitting needle(2); a second needle bed(4) of a dial type containing a groove for a second knitting needle(5); and a second cam controlling the second knitting needle(5). The needle beds(1,4) fix a vertical and horizontal combe intervals(x,y) like a stitch interval. The needle beds(1,4) are so arranged as to form 6mm of the stitch interval. The knitting needle(2) of at least one needle bed(1) is a compound needle containing a hook(15.1).
