PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device, grinding a large width and easily adjusting the abrasion of a grinder disk. SOLUTION: A plurality of grinding means 15 are arranged in a tandem line in a grinding direction and disposed to be shifted in the direction intersecting perpendicularly to the cutting direction on a base 1, the respective grinding means 15 are inclined at a fixed angle, so that the grinder 16 surface comes into contact with a surface to be ground at a predetermined angle of inclination, the support arms 18 of the respective grinding means are supported from above and below by a pair of pressing force adjusting springs 20, 21 to freely adjust the angle of inclination, and further the grinding means 15 are integrally provided to be freely move in the grinding direction. The base 1 is provided with base support rollers 2 supported on a material 3 to be ground to move up and down, and the base 1 is supported on a traveling girder to move up and down.
