PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine for eliminating the need for reading again an original even when a user designates a wrong destination. SOLUTION: A display section displays a destination number or the like (ST3) when an original is set to an ADF (ST1) and the destination number or the like is entered (ST2). The reading of the original is started (ST5) when a start key is turned on (ST4) and whether or not a reset key is turned on during the reading of the original is determined (ST6-ST8). The re-input routine of the destination number is started (ST7) and the destination number is re-inputted when the reset key is turned on during the reading of the original (ST6). The facsimile machine is in a standby state (ST9) when the re-input routine is in operation when the reading of the original is finished (ST8) and faxes an image of the read original (ST10-ST15) when the re-input routine is finished.
