PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the communication of a generalization control substrate 4 and other substrates 5 to 8 is heretofore one-way communication and the communication procedures for the same are not heretofore defined and therefore the generalization control substrate fails to recognize the internal configuration of the display controller and consequently such useless processing as to notify a control instruction even to a substrate not required to be notified of the control instruction is carried out and since the generalization control substrate cannot heretofore judge the processing results of the other substrates and therefore the detailed notification of the processing results at the substrate to a man-machine interface is infeasible. SOLUTION: The communication means and communication procedures to the generalization control substrate 4 and the other substrates 5 to 8 are defined to make the two-way communication possible, by which the recognition of the internal configuration of the display controller and the detailed notification of the processing results in the display controller are made possible.
