PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape conveying device that stabilizes tape feeding and can prevent damage of tape. SOLUTION: The tape conveying device has a tape supply section 101, a stage 7 that moves in a tape feeding direction and the reverse direction at any speed and can sequentially conveys the tape 17 supplied from the tape supply section 101 in the tape feeding direction, a means for fixing the tape 17 supplied from the tape supply section 101 to the stage 7, a tape storing section 105 for storing tape 17 having passed through the stage 7, and first and second guide rollers 5 and 10 that are disposed between the tape supply section 101 and the stage 7 and between the tape storing section 105 and the stage 7, respectively, support the tape 17, and can freely rotate in response to the running speed and direction of the tape.
