ELECTRONIC MASKING LASER IMAGING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic masking laser imaging system which realizes a preferred structure and a preferred usage.

SOLUTION: A laser imaging equipment has a laser source 18 to output a laser beam and an electronic display unit 32. The electronic display unit is arranged downstream of the laser source. The electronic display unit can selectively polarize a separated portion of the laser beam to form a modulated part and a non-modulated part. A polarization filter 34 is arranged downstream of the display unit, and hinders either the modulated or non-modulated part of the laser beam from transmission so as to form an image beam with a specific pattern.
