PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having a pack container 2 and a pack lid 3 prevented from being jointed by a slippage by forming a rib 2b of which tip part is crushed when the insertion part 3a of the pack lid 3 is fitted into the outer engaging part 2a of the pack container 2. SOLUTION: In the battery formed by fitting and jointing the insertion part 3a of the pack lid 3 made of resin to the outer engaging part 2a of the opening part of the pack container 2 of a housing the unit cell 1 made of resin, a rib 2b, made to further protrude toward inside from the inner circumference face of the outer engaging part 2a to the extent that the protruded tip part is deformed by being pressure contacted on the outer peripheral face of the insertion part 3a when the insertion part 3a is engaged into the outer engaging part 2a, is formed.
